Ruin Bound: Out of Here (Ruin Bound)

Out of Here (Ruin Bound)

Summer’s stumbling in – hey man, give me a swig
Cause I’ve got three more lawns till I break the pig
Then I’m out of here
Dust trails lagging behind
I might be ruin bound, but it’s an East Coast state of mind

All these kamikaze lovers with their Shakespeare books
They don’t dig where I’m from, giving me dirty looks
But I don’t need them
Don’t want the trains on time
I might be ruin bound, but it’s an East Coast state of mind

I don’t want to see another city-bleached night
Or here another ceiling fan sharpening knives
Salmon or shark – as long as it’s got wheels
Cause even if I come back I’m still going for real

I might be ruin bound
Ruin bound
I might be ruin bound
Ruin bound
I might be ruin bound
Ruin bound
Dust trails lagging behind
I might be ruin bound, but it’s an East Coast state of mind

I don’t want to see another city-bleached night
Or here another ceiling fan sharpening knives
Salmon or shark – as long as it’s got wheels
Cause even if I come back I’m still going for real

I might be ruin bound
Ruin bound
I might be ruin bound
Ruin bound
I might be ruin bound
Ruin bound
Dust trails lagging behind
I might be ruin bound, but it’s an East Coast state of mind

Summer’s stumbling in – hey man, give me a swig
I’m only dragging my feet because my shoes are too big
Soon I’ll be out of here
I really mean it this time
I might be ruin bound, but it’s an East Coast state of mind
