Ruin Bound: Chainsaw Grin

Chainsaw Grin

Well, Juliet went to California
And you came along for the ride
And when she saw the pillars of heaven
Man, all you could see were dollar signs

And you pay your parking fines
With rubber rain checks
Passing all your hot potatoes to the usual suspects
Grinning your chainsaw grin…

Oh, Mother Nature… oh, Mother Nature…
What has your little orphan done?
Pissing dioxin into your rivers
What has your little orphan done?

The time you take’s not even for sale
Pulling your weight like a beached blue whale
Stinking up places I’ve never been
Here you creeping closer to my door
The rags I wear are the clothes you wore
Before you saw the dollar signs

Oh, Mother Nature… oh, Mother Nature…
What has your little orphan done?
Pissing dioxin into your rivers
What has your little orphan done?

And he pays his parking fines
With rubber rain checks
Passing all his hot potatoes to the usual suspects
Grinning his chainsaw grin…

And you pay your parking fines
With rubber rain checks
Passing all your hot potatoes to the usual suspects
Grinning your chainsaw grin…
