Now and Then: Now and Then
Now and then
It’s strange to think them the same
Though from one the other became
No clear line can be named
Now and then
I think of you too often
And all that’s now won’t soften
What then promised to begin
But that was then
And this is now
And I’ll take you
Any way anyhow
Now and then
A hummingbird comes to my sill
And I watch it, silent and still
Lying in bed so tranquil
